WARRANTY INFORMATION

Each bike is covered by the all inclusive warranty of one year of our manufacturer for the original owner against all manufacturing defects. The guaranteed part will only be shipped to USA and Canada. TÉO VÉLO Inc. warrants this product, including all individual components, except accessories such as stand, rack, light, mudguard, mirror, lock and alarm system, etc.

1. 1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Bicycle components TÉO VÉLO Inc., including frame, motor, controller and LCD display are guaranteed to be exempt manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the dat of original purchase. Normal wear and tear are not covered by warranty. TÉO VÉLO Inc. lithium-ion batteries are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the date of original purchase. The battery warranty does not include damage caused by water, use of the wrong charger, improper maintenance or other misuse,  shock, breakage, fall, accident or normal wear and tear. If the seat post is positioned higher of the minimum insertion requirement of the seat post in the frame, a frame failure may occur and will not be covered by the warranty.

2. WHAT DO WE DO TO ADDRESS A PROBLEM WITH YOUR BIKE?

If a component is defective or damaged, without error of use or breach of the user’s liability we will issue a replacement part free of charge.

3. WHAT WE DON’T DO?

TÉO VÉLO Inc. not replacing any part without having seen the photos or the video of the damaged part. We do not offer warranty service to second-hand owners. We will not replace any parts damaged by the user. We will not pay for a third service. We will not pay return shipping on any damaged or defective product or component. TÉO VÉLO Inc. will not cover any damage that may occur during carriage.

4. CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY

This warranty is available in the original owner of a TÉO VÉLO. This warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of manufacturing defective parts. This warranty does not cover damage to defects resulting from failure to follow instructions Owner’s manual, acts of God, accidents, abuse, neglect, commercial use, alterations, improper assembly, normal wear and tear, installation of parts or accessories without originally planned or compatible with the bicycle sold, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, training or incorrect tracking maintenance. If repairs can be made, a new bike will not be sent. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (chain, tires, tubes, brake pads, cables and housings, handles). Téo vélo Inc will not be liable for any damage, failure or loss caused by unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts. Shipment damage must be reported to Teo Bike Inc. within 24 hours after the shipment arrives. In no event shall TÉO VÉLO Inc be liable for direct, indirect or consequential damages, including, without limitation, damages caused by blessings, property damage or economic losses, facts about the contract, warranty, negligence or product liability in connection with their products.

5. CLAIMS

All claims under this warranty must be made by TÉO VÉLO Inc. Proof of purchase will be required with any warranty claim. Before making a warranty request, we suggest you to contact our technical support team at info@teovelo.com. There can be a simple solution for your problem. Valid warranty claims will be processed by TÉO VÉLO Inc. within one year of claim. You have to wash and clean your bike before entered in our workshop.

7. WHAT YOU HAVE TO PAY

Labor, shop material, cleaning and other costs are not covered by this warranty. The hourly rate of $79 will be charged.

8. CLAIMS FOR DAMAGE TO SHIPPING

Note any damage to your product on the bill of lading before signing and signing of the driver. Take pictures of any damage detected and date the pictures. Keep all packaging and paperwork until the inspection process is complete. Please report the damage to shipping company.
